Waldman, Stuart (P2, C4, L28)

Private Stuart Waldman was born in Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky, 10 May 1922. He enlisted in the Kentucky National Guard’s Headquarters Company, 149th Infantry, 15 July 1940. He entered into federal service 17 January 1941, with his company. While on active duty he was transferred to Company F, 179th Infantry Regiment.

Waldman was killed in action in France, on 22 September 1944, while serving with Company F, 179th Infantry. He is buried in the Keneseth Isreal Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky.
