Pigg, John Walker (P2, C3, L37)

Pigg, JWStaff Sergeant John W. Pigg was born 9 May 1922, at Mayfield, Graves County, Kentucky. He served as a member of the 149th Infantry, Kentucky National Guard. He was inducted in federal service on 17 January 1941.

Pigg was killed in action 28 March 1945, on Luzon Island, Philippine Islands. He is buried in the Rocky Spring Cemetery, Cynthiana, Harrison County, Kentucky.
