Leonard, Fred C., Jr. (P2, C3, L15)

Leonard_FPrivate Fred C. Leonard, Jr., 23, of Mercer County, Kentucky, Headquarters Company, 192nd Light Tank Battalion joined the Harrodsburg National Guard unit sometime before it was activated in November 1940. He was taken prisoner on 9 April 1942. Leonard died on 28 July 1942 at Camp Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija, Philippines of cerebral malaria.Leonard_F_Grave
