Lancaster, James Turner (P2, C3, L12)

lancaster james t headstonePrivate First Class James T. Lancaster was born 11 May 1919, at Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. He enlisted with Battery E, 138th Field Artillery of the Kentucky National Guard at Louisville, on 10 March 1936. He was inducted into federal service on 18 January 1941.

Lancaster was killed in action on 11 May 1944, and is buried in Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery, Louisville, Kentucky.
