Freeman, Keith (P2, C2, L21)

Freeman, K 001Private Keith Freeman was born 20 December 1921, at Wofford, Whitley County, Kentucky. He enlisted with Company D, 149th Infantry of the Kentucky National Guard on 30 September 1939, at Williamsburg. He was inducted into federal service with his unit on 17 January 1941.

Freeman was killed in action on 9 December 1943. He is buried in the Faulkner-Thomas Cemetery, Whitley County, Kentucky.
