Forester, Cletus Wray (P2, C2, L19)

Forester, CW 001 - CopyStaff Sergeant Cletus W. Forester was born 4 May 1906, at Fulton, Fulton County, Kentucky. He enlisted with Company L, 149th Infantry at Mayfield, Kentucky, on 18 June 1931. He entered into federal service on 17 January 1941. He was relieved from active duty and assigned to State Detachment, 5 November 1941, and recalled to active duty on 13 January 1942.

He was killed in action in Luzon Island, Philippine Islands on 5 June 1945. He is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Dukedom, Weakley County, Tennessee.forester cletus w headstone
